Oracle Fusion AI Agents excel when processes live entirely within Fusion. Most enterprises, however, span JD Edwards, E-Business Suite, SAP, and other systems, making Fusion-only automation incomplete. This session compares two approaches: Oracle AI Agent Studio orchestrating across systems via REST, MCP, and A2A, and agents built with APEX 26.1 on Oracle AI Database 26ai that use Fusion, JD Edwards, and EBS as tools. Both approaches are strengthened by a process model repository that defines end-to-end workflows and business rules, providing grounded context, guiding execution, and improving auditability.
